Press Release:  On 04/06/2012, at approximately 0228 hours, members of the Junction City Police Department Patrol Division were dispatched to the area of 1450 North Calhoun Street, in reference to shots fired. As the units arrived on scene a subject identified as Michael A. Washington, B/M, 25 years of age, of Junction City arrived at the Geary Community Hospital emergency room suffering from two gunshot injuries. It was learned thru the investigation that Mr. Washington was involved in the incident at 1450 North Calhoun Street. Upon arrival of the units at 1450 North Calhoun Street, a second subject suffering from a gunshot injury was located. The second subject identified as Lemar T. Davis, B/M, 25 years of age of Junction City, was transported to the Geary Community Hospital emergency room by ambulance. Mr. Washington was transferred to the KU Med Center in Kansas City and Mr. Davis were transferred to Kansas Wesleyan in Wichita, Kansas, in serious condition for further medical treatment.
